Motor Start Capacitors
Natraj / Jonson motor start Capacitors are available in all range.
Aluminium Electrolytic Motor Start Capacitors consisting of high purity Etched and Formed foil interlaced with capacitor grade absorbent insulating paper soaked with electrolyte and are encapsulated in Aluminium Can.
Single phase induction motors need a high starting torque, by connecting a Motor Start Capacitor in series with the winding of motor, after switch on the motor capacitor gets automatically switched off by centrifugal switch as soon as the motor approaches its normal operating speed. From thereon, the motor operates on a single winding.

Burst proof construction:
Safety valve is provided on the rubber-bakelite disc. In case of abnormal pressure generated by internal or external heat, safety valve opens and pressure is released.
